August:
Sweet juicy plums; rivers of Queen Anne’s Lace; an adventure over the mountains in the summer rain; Vermont evenings

September:
A new adventure begun; sailboats in the harbour; berries in the hedgerow; Cornish mud on my boots

October:
A London market; a visit to the Downs; mulled cider on bonfire night

November:
Red berries in the lanes; falling leaves; looking out over the cold blue sea

December:
Baking mince pies; walking on the clouds; making friends on the Penwith Moors; dancing maidens frozen in stone; wild December

2012 has been a year full of changes. Not all of them have been easy to bear. But when I look back, I think that of any year I have lived, this year has been the richest. I have felt every moment. I have learned much. I have changed much. I have loved and I have been loved in ways I still am not sure I deserve. And I feel, as the year draws to an end, that I have perhaps lived truer to my heart than I ever have dared to in the past. From somewhere I have found courage. I keep moving forward. With every step, I try to dig deeper. With every step, I come closer to the truth. I cannot express how much it means to me to share my little bit of the world here with you – and I never stop being astonished at the things you share back with me. Thank you. I hope 2013 is another wonderful adventure for us all.

More beautiful seasonal images and happy memories to reflect on. I particularly love the shot of the stones from December.
Wishing you so much joy and happiness in 2013. May all your dreams come true. x
If I can lure you to Cornwall those stones are one of the first places I plan to take you

Happy 2013!
I was so lost in your images. Lovely, really, crisp and made me smile. I think I like the red berries over the cold sea most. Something about it made me want to stop and stay for a while. Nice to be sharing the pages of Kindred with you. xox Jenn
Thank you so much for your comment Jenn. It is always with such delight that I hear of a kindred spirit (not to make a pun!) dwelling here in my little corner, and finding solace there. I’m so glad you enjoyed the photos. XOXOX
